Currently working as an Assistant Professor of English, Fatima Mata National College, Kollam, Kerala, India. She finished her Post-Doctoral Degree from School of Letters, MG University, Kottayam in Kathakali Adaptations of Shakespeare. She has completed her doctoral research on Shakespearean Film Adaptations. She has authored five books among which Bennyaminte Novel Lokam is included in the PG syllabus of 'School of Letters, Kottayam'.Her Article,' Indian Hamlet in Action;VK Prakash's Karmayogi and Vishal Bharadwaj's Haider is a part of the Undergraduate Syllabus of Education and English of Chinmaya Viswavidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). Her book Shakespeare in Malayalam Celluloid' is catalogued in major libraries across the world Pennlibraries, University of Pennsylvania, University of Zurich's Library, Switzerland and Shakespeare Institute Library, England. She has bagged several awards including Indian Woman Writer Award, Dr B R Ambedkar Sahithyasree National Award, J C Daniel Nanma Puraskaram, Kunchan Nambiar Award for best critical text. She has also bagged the first prize in National Poetry competition for teachers.Her article Malayalee's Dostoevsky was recently published in Bloggers Karamazov, the official blog of North American Dostoevsky society. Her areas of interest are Shakespearean Studies, Adaptation Studies, Performance Studies, and Postcolonial Studies and is an independent researcher on Russian Translations. Her recent article, 'A Modern Poetry Experiment in Indian Literature : Stretched Angles was included in the Kendra Sahitya Akademi's Bimonthly Journal,Indian Literature.
